Max Payne 3′s first DLC, the Local Justice Pack, out now

Rockstar has released the first piece of DLC for Max Payne 3. The Local Justice Pack is available now on Xbox Live and the N.America PSN store. It will launch on the EU PSN store tomorrow.

It will arrive on PC on 17 July.

The Local Justice Pack includes:

Three new multiplayer maps based on the single player campaign’s final chapters (The Imperial Palace, 55th Battalion HQ, Departure Lounge)
M4 Assault Rifle with attachments
Light Fingers Item for faster reloading
Sao Paulo Police multiplayer faction
360 Achievement and PS3 Trophies

For the first week the Local Justice Pack will be available for 460 Microsoft Points, or £4.25 via PSN. Thereafter it will set you back 640 Microsoft Point, £5.49 on PSN. If you’ve already got the Max Paybe 3 Rockstar Pass the content is yours for no extra charge.

Rockstar has also released the content that was previously restricted to those who had pre-ordered the game.

This includes:

Cemetery Map – Multiplayer map with a wintry New York City skyline, sniping positions amongst the monuments, destructible tombstones, and a looming mausoleum: 160 Microsoft Points / £1.59 PSN
Silent Killer Loadout Pack – Includes the Light Anti-Tank Weapon, the Slippery Character Burst to quickly escape a firefight, and the Listening Device Item that amplifies player hearing: 160 Microsoft Points / £1.59 PSN
Pill Bottle Item – Allows players to carry more painkillers in multiplayer: 80 Microsoft Points / £0.79 PSN
Deadly Force Burst – Grants extra stopping power with higher damage bullets in multiplayer: 80 Microsoft Points / £0.79 PSN
Classic Max Payne Character – Multiplayer avatar inspired by the original Max Payne: 80 Microsoft Points / £0.79 PSN

How to remove the vRam limitation in Max Payne 3

Today we want to help you with a question we get a lot here at Max Payne 3 Blog, and that is about the vRam limitations. It is the same vRAM that was present and in GTA IV. As with Rockstar’s open world game though, there is a way to bypass it. All you have to do is to locate the commandline.txt file that is located in the folder where you’ve installed Max Payne 3. Open this file and add “-availablevidmem 2100″ and you will be able to select each and every graphical option.

This tutorial works with a problem when you have 2GB VRAM on GPU and Max Payne 3 can’t detect,the game will recognise 512MB instead of 2GB,try this,it should work!!!

In either case, we will be removing invalid leaderboard entries to ensure that the players at the top of the charts have earned their spots fairly.”

The good people at Rockstar Games know that to keep the game fair and equal they must remove all cheaters, boosters and hackers from the game. This would help to make Max Payne 3a level fair playing field for all gamers. Needless to say the hackers cheaters and modders are unhappy and bitching about this. We understand that some gamers think it might be more fun to use modding and hacking tools on the game however most gamers do not want to be playing if it is not fair. All cheaters will be reviewed and if they find you are cheating they will make you go to cheater only severs to play vs cheaters only. If you do it 2 times you are banned from playing all non cheaters, for good!

Right now Max Payne 3 has A FEW people using invincibility hacks, infinite adrenaline, score cheating. Report those cheaters and all cheaters here.

Rockstars Downloadable Content List for Max Payne 3

Rockstar games have released their full content lineup that will be releasing later this year for Max Payne 3.

For those of you who do plan on buying some Max Payne 3 DLC, then Rockstar will be offering a “Rockstar Pass,” which will grant access to all upcoming DLC. The price of the pass is 2400 MS points (Xbox 360) or $29.99 for PSN and PC. This pass will save you around 35% compared to buying each DLC individually. So far, Pricing and release dates haven’t been announced for each pack, though expect some news soon.

Below is the official DLC schedule as listed on the official Rockstar website:

Local Justice Map Pack:
- Includes a new Police Precinct map for Gang Wars, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer multiplayer modes.

Free Max Payne 3 Gorilla Warfare Pack Out Now on PSN and Xbox LIVE

Rockstar Games has announced today the first DLC pack for Max Payne 3 mutliplayer, Gorilla Warfare, is now available to download for free on PSN and Xbox Live. PC version will get the pack day one as well, on May 29th in North America and June 1st in Europe.

Gorilla Warfare packs in the following:

Gorilla Mask Item – gives you extra adrenaline for melee kills from behind
Lucky Coin Item – gives you extra cash when looting bodies
Booby Trap Item – makes your corpse booby trapped so that it explodes when looted by another player

You can learn more about Max Payne 3′s upcoming DLC here, the next pack, the Local Justice Map Pack, is slated to release in June.
